We chose the name Epiphany because prayer is not just about asking, but about noticing how God is at work over time. As prayers are recorded, carried, and revisited, they begin to form stories — moments where people see how God meets them, sometimes quietly, sometimes unexpectedly. In the future, Epiphany will help people witness their own testimonies and the testimonies of others, so the journey of faith becomes something lived, remembered and shared, not forgotten as an isolated note.

Most Bible apps focus on what to read or do next. Epiphany begins with what you’re actually going through. Prayers are not just recorded, but carried — by Scripture, by people, and over time, by memory. What begins as a prayer can become a testimony.

Epiphany currently uses the King James Version (KJV). We chose the KJV for its wide recognition, public-domain availability, and its deep influence on Christian language and devotion across generations. For many, the KJV’s phrasing carries a sense of reverence and familiarity that supports prayerful reading and reflection. As Epiphany grows, we plan to introduce additional Bible translations, giving users more ways to engage with Scripture in the language and style that best supports their journey.

AI plays a limited, supporting role in Epiphany. It can assist understanding by offering light context or connections, but it cannot carry your burdens or speak with spiritual authority. That’s why Epiphany is built around people, not prompts, and does not position AI as a spiritual teacher or interpreter. Any insights offered are meant to spark reflection, not provide final answers.
